At 4:30 pm Texas A&M Forest Service was requested by Randall County Fire Dept. for a fire off of FM 1705 and Buffalo Lake Rd. The fire has jumped FM 1714 moving north. Multiple structures are threatened. Texas A&M Forest Service is working in unified command with Canyon Fire Dept. Fire engines are currently doing structure protection and heavy equipment is engaging on both flanks. Aviation resources are also being utilized.
