AI Summary

Microsoft's Office 2019 for Mac will cease to function next month due to a certificate expiration. The certificate in question validates Office licenses, and its expiration will render the software unusable. As a result, users of Office 2019 for Mac will need to upgrade to either Office 2024 or a Microsoft 365 subscription to continue editing documents. This development is a consequence of Microsoft's decision not to renew the certificate, which was previously promised to be supported.
