Amazon Announces 5 New Smart Home Devices. Here’s a Rundown
About two weeks after Apple unveiled its HomeView smart display and HomePod Mini 2 smart speaker, Amazon countered on Wednesday with not one, not two, but five new smart devices and a new smart home feature.
AI Summary
Amazon unveiled five new smart‑home products and a fresh smart‑home feature on Wednesday, following Apple’s recent HomeView and HomePod Mini 2 launches. The lineup includes Echo Time, a camera‑free alarm clock powered by Alexa Plus that offers hundreds of clock‑face options and built‑in sleep‑tracking sensors to monitor rest and optimize wake‑up times. Other devices emphasize sleep and memory themes while providing expanded control over various parts of the home. The announcement positions Amazon’s new hardware as a direct response to Apple’s latest smart‑display and speaker offerings.
