A Chinese winged spacecraft was photographed in orbit by a US‑owned commercial satellite in 2024, revealing a design that closely mirrors the U.S. Space Force’s X‑37B spaceplane. The vehicle features delta‑shaped wings, payload bay doors, a dark heat‑shield coating and a rear‑mounted service module equipped with solar arrays for power generation. Its overall configuration—winged hull, service module and external appearance—suggests a substantial copy of the X‑37B’s architecture.
