The Siri AI waitlist is gone in iOS 27: How to try the beta today
The wait is over for trying Siri AI on iOS 27. Here's what you need to know to get started.
AI Summary
Apple has removed the waitlist for Siri AI on iOS 27, allowing users to download the generative‑AI assistant immediately after enabling it on a compatible iPhone, Mac or iPad. Previously, activation triggered a message that placed the device on a waitlist with variable delays. The new process installs Siri AI automatically, though Apple warns that unusually high demand could cause a temporary reinstatement of the waitlist. This change streamlines access to the new virtual assistant for eligible devices.
