AI Summary

Prime Video’s “Psycho‑Pass” is a three‑season crime thriller that offers a darker alternative to the long‑running NCIS. The series, written by Gen Urobuchi, is set in a dystopian 22nd‑century Japan where the government uses the Sibyl System to monitor citizens’ mental states, stress levels, and personalities. The system calculates a Crime Coefficient that predicts the likelihood of future criminal behavior. This premise shifts the focus from traditional case‑of‑the‑week investigations to a society constantly surveilled for potential offenders. The show’s unique setting and psychological angle provide a fresh take on crime drama.
