AI Summary

Netflix is set to launch its first television series based on the work of Philip K. Dick, marking the streaming platform’s entry into adapting the author’s notoriously dense, anti‑cinematic sci‑fi stories. The move follows earlier high‑profile adaptations of Dick’s material, including Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner, Richard Linklater’s A Scanner Darkly, and Steven Spielberg’s Minority Report. By bringing a Dick narrative to series format, Netflix aims to expand the legacy of his influential speculative fiction.
