Composer Sam Hulick announced he will create a “re‑scored” version of the leaked Mass Effect: Universe trailer, replacing the existing soundtrack with his own music to reflect his vision for the cancelled Mass Effect title. He aims to have the new version ready for N7 Day. The effort follows composer Austin Wintory’s release of 20 minutes of music he wrote after a “serious conversation” with BioWare and Electronic Arts about scoring Mass Effect 5. Hulick’s project adds further unofficial music to the franchise’s fan‑generated content.
