Jon Stewart opened Monday night’s episode of The Daily Show by targeting Vice President JD Vance for what he called “constant anti‑immigrant rhetoric.” Stewart played a clip from a recent town‑hall where a woman asked Vance why he was scapegoating immigrants, to which Vance replied, “I appreciate the question.” Stewart responded that “in no way, not in any planet, not in any timeline does JD Vance appreciate that question,” framing the exchange as a critique of Vance’s stance on immigration.
