In this age of pervasive slop maybe we should be grateful for Shrek 2 Remastered
Shrek 2 Remastered is coming out in November, it has been announced. I wasn't aware there was a Shrek 2 game for PS2, the OG Xbox, GameCube and PC, probably because in 2004 I was too busy thinking about all the other games coming out.
AI Summary
Shrek 2 Remastered has been announced for a November release. The original Shrek 2 game appeared on PS2, the original Xbox, GameCube and PC, though contemporary reviews were lukewarm. Nintendo World Report called it “pretty bad,” while Eurogamer described it as harmless, inoffensive, middle‑of‑the‑road action aimed at young children. IGN assigned the game a 7 out of 10 despite the reviewer’s expressed dread of playing it.
