I have neither the budget nor the inclination for a crystal encrusted RTX 5090, but Galax is releasing one anyway
Nvidia's RTX 5090 GPU has become particularly elusive lately. In light of swirling rumours, Nvidia promises the 5090 isn't dead but constrained supply and runaway pricing has made it a tough card to track down.
AI Summary
Nvidia’s RTX 5090 GPU remains hard to find, with limited supply and high prices despite the company’s assurance the card isn’t discontinued. Amid the scarcity, Galax—part of Palit—has announced a “Hall of Fame Edition” of the RTX 5090 that will feature a shroud encrusted with Swarovski crystals. The special edition was first teased at Computex, where observers initially assumed it signaled a new GPU generation, but it has now been confirmed as a current‑gen, crystal‑decorated variant.
