At the start of this year, ABC made the relatively rare announcement that it was renewing all of its scripted shows, declining to deliver any cancellations.
AI Summary
ABC announced it was renewing all of its scripted series, avoiding any cancellations. The renewal led to episode‑count changes and delays: High Potential season 3 and Shifting Gears season 3 were pushed out of the fall lineup, and R.J. Decker season 3 remains unconfirmed while season 2 will run only seven episodes. Fall shows will soon enter winter hiatuses. ABC’s midseason schedule now lists return dates for 9‑1‑1, Abbott Elementary, The Rookie, Will Trent, and the network’s top hit, High Potential.
