Aaron Eckhart's 83-Minute Gritty Neo-Western Becomes A Global Streaming Hit
Thanks to "Yellowstone" and its various offshoots, Paramount+ has become the primary purveyor of neo-Western entertainment in Hollywood. But the streamer isn't just home to wildly popular Taylor Sheridan dramas.
AI Summary
Aaron Eckhart stars as a Department of Agriculture agent in the neo‑Western film “Thieves Highway,” where his lone lawman battles a modern cattle‑rustling operation and ends up in a life‑or‑death fight. The movie has risen to the top of Paramount+’s worldwide streaming charts, reflecting the platform’s strength in neo‑Western content. Despite its global success, the film is not available on Paramount+ in the United States; U.S. viewers can watch it through Hulu/Disney+. The story blends over‑the‑top action with a gritty, contemporary twist on Old West themes.
