The 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Bluetooth controller sells for $30 and includes modern features such as haptic feedback, six‑axis motion control, vibration, tactile bumpers, a D‑pad and Hall‑effect thumbsticks and triggers. It adds an extra, mappable shoulder button positioned between each main bumper and trigger, aimed at twitch‑style play while remaining optional. The design omits nonessential extras like RGB lighting and rear‑grip buttons, focusing on a compact, comfortable and precise form. Engadget’s review calls the controller a “pared‑down paragon” that delivers essential functionality at a fraction of the price of other Switch 2 gamepads.
